Another weekend full of results for the team of Sports Center of the Italian Air Force (CSAM).

Skeet shooting

At the European Shooting Championships in Larnaca (CYP) the av.sc. Sofia Littamè graduated as European Junior Shooting Champion. Our twenty-year-old athlete wins three medals in the Trap (Olympic Pit) Junior: 2 ORI, in the individual and in the mix team, a SILVER in the women's team.

Beach Volleyball

In the last stage of the Italian Beach Volley Championship in Caorle (VE) great performance of our athletes who return home with a nice booty:

The 1st BC Marta Menegatti is Champion of Italy. Paired with promising young Valentina Gottardi, she wins the Stage Tournament and, by virtue of the sum of the points from the previous stages, the Italian Championship (Scudetto). In the last race the two athletes, despite having mathematically conquered the title simply by reaching the semifinal, were not satisfied and won the tournament with an overwhelming superiority, without leaving even a set to the opponents. For our athlete it is the sixth Italian title in her career.

The 1st airman chosen Daniele Lupo "does not lose the vice" and wins the victory in the last stage of the men's tournament paired with the Lithuanian Edgar Tocs.

The podium was enhanced by the 3rd place of the chosen airman Enrico Rossi who, paired with his old companion Marco Carminati given the absence of the current one, the chief airman Adrian Carambula, in the direct clash between the two AM athletes in a hard-fought semifinal he gives a hard time to the winner of the tournament.

Vela

At the Absolute World Championship in Halifax (Canada), the newly enlisted, chosen airmen Gianluigi Ugolini and Maria Giubilei, win the Silver Medal in the class Nacra17.

The Championship was won by the Italian crew Tita (Fiamme Gialle) - Banti (cc Aniene), Olympic champions in Tokyo, while the Bronze went to the Finns Kurtbay-Keskinen.

Canoe

At the Under 23 World Championship in Szeged (HUN), excellent 4th place for the chosen airman Flavio Spurio in the K2 mix 500 meters.

Rhythmic gymnastics

Last weekend the Gracia Fair Cup took place in Budapest (Hungary) where the 1st airman Alexandra Ana Maria Agiurgiuculese wins the general competition and in the specialty finals she wins 3 gold and one silver. Despite being a second level competition, the result obtained after a very difficult period is to be appreciated.

On August 28, however, the World Challenge Cup of rhythmic gymnastics took place in Cluj Napoca (Romania) where 1st airman Milena Baldassarri won the Bronze Medal in the ball specialty. An important result in view of the next World Championships in mid-September.

Athletics

4 athletes from the Air Force Sports Center took part in the XXXV International Meeting of the City of Padua, the Italian stage of the World Athletics Continental Tour. time he returns to throw over the 22 meter sling (14), winning 21nd place and beating the American, world bronze medalist Josh Awotunde (21,16).
