It took place in Milan at the Mi.Co. (Centro Congressi di Fiera Milano City) the first Padel Misto Mixto tournament, i.e. a competition with mixed teams made up of disabled and able-bodied female and male athletes.
The tournament, organized by Padel Trend Expo, saw the participation of athletes from all 5 defense sports groups: the Paralympic Defense Sports Group (GSPD), that of the Italian Army, the Navy, the Air Force and the Carabinieri.
The event, part of a demonstration that brings together the entire Padel community, with the aim of promoting the high social and inclusive values of sport, saw the victory of the GSPD / Army couple composed by col. ro Roberto Punzo/grad. sc. Jennifer Cecconi on the GSPD/Aeronautics couple represented by the adm. Salvatore Vasta/1st av. sc. Veronica Children.
The GSPD/Arma dei Carabinieri teams formed by the ass. ser. spt. Marco Maggiore/char. Vittoria Fontana and GSPD/Marina represented by Sgt. ro Moreno Marchetti/sc. 2nd class Costanza Di Camillo, who finished third and fourth respectively.
The athletes were awarded by Brigadier General Eugenio Martis, representing the defense staff.
