Italian Army Interforce Champion 2024

The GESE sports facilities, emilian equestrian sports group, were the protagonists of four intense days of competition dedicated to the Olympic discipline of Show Jumping.

As part of the 33rd edition of the Master of Italy Memorial General Dalla Chiesa, the challenge valid for the Italian inter-force individual and team championship was played. The team that fought for the title, fielded by the military equestrian center and designated by the team leader lieutenant colonel Andrea Mezzaroba, was composed of c.le VFP4 Michol Del Signore - Kalypso D'Ocq, c.le VFP4 Martina Simoni - On Top Van't Gelutt, c.le VFP4 Nico Lupino - Next Twist Van't Ruytershof, c.le Magg. Lorenzo Correddu - Dalakany Chardonnet.

Thanks to the performances of Corporal VFP4 Michol Del Signore, newly enlisted with the 2024 athletes call, the Army is not only graduating 2024 Interforce Team Champion, but also won the bronze medal in the individual inter-force championship.

The military athlete has closed the difficult Grand Prix 150, from which the inter-force ranking was extrapolated, in fifth position. The awards ceremony was attended by the president of the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation, the lawyer Marco Di Paola, accompanied by the commander of the military equestrian center, Colonel Marco Del Nevo.

This result closes a completely positive 2024 budget. The Army Team holds the title of inter-force team champion, both for the discipline of Show Jumping both for the full competition. In addition to the title of Italian senior absolute champion and individual inter-force champion in the eventing, and bronze in the individual inter-force show jumping event.

Gold also in the latest edition of the military world championships in Doha (Qatar).

This extraordinary series of successes is the result of constant commitment, dedication and impeccable teamwork. The athletes, together with their horses, demonstrated exceptional skills and perfect synergy. Each member of the team contributed significantly, showcasing not only talent, but also a great passion for the sport and the desire to proudly represent the Armed Forces.
