To dominate the four races of the 17 ^ edition of International Military Ski Championships in Chile they were the biathletes of the Army Sports Center Saverio Zini, Andrea Baretto, Rudy Zini and Xavier Guideti Accompanied and supported by the technician Alessandro Fiandino and the chief sergeant major Marco Jerusel.

Despite the 2800 meters of altitude of the Chilean locality, numerous were the successes of the Alpine starting from Rudy Zini's 3 place in 10 km of Cross country skiing, to continue with the all-Italian photocopy podium of the biathlon sprint race with Rudy Zini, 1 ° Saverio Zini and 2 ° Xavier Guidetti at 3 ° place repeated the day after in the chase race on 12,5 km distance.

Similar situation also for the race mass start on the distance of the 15 km which saw Rudy Zini again conquer the highest step of the podium followed in second place by Xavier Guidetti and third by Andrea Baretto. Closing the five days of competition was the conquest of the highest step of the podium in the military patrol race in front of the other foreign delegations present, sealing a significant domain in this first South American stage.
