During the training period in Italy, Jenny and her trainer were able to achieve the right dog-handler harmony. At the end of the initial training Weapon instructors have intensified the training to allow Jenny to perform more delicate activities such as searching for weapons and explosives.

Unfortunately, the explosion of the pandemic last year forced the presenter to return to her homeland early and leave Jenny in Italy.

Today, almost a year later, it has been possible to reunite "Jenny" with her presenter of the Gibutian Gendarmerie.

As part of the bilateral agreement between the Italian Republic and the Djiboutian Republic on cooperation in the defense sector, it will be possible to restart training where it was interrupted and to obtain the qualification for the dog unit directly in Djibouti where it will then be employed at the "Ambouli" International Airport.

The increasing differentiation and specialization of the training programs developed in the various editions of MIADIT, launched in 2014, under the supervision of Interoperable Summit Operations Command (COI) and with the use of personnel from the specialized departments of the Carabinieri in its various articulations (Training, Territorial, Mobile and Special), it will be able to allow the Police Forces and the Gibutian Gendarmerie, trained in recent years, to consolidate and increase more and more your own know-how in the security sector and specialty components.
