At the end of intense training, the Libyan military carried out an exercise to verify the level of the preparation reached.
The Libyan policemen have obtained the qualification of "operators" through a training course that has seen them engaged in patrolling activities of a town, in the techniques of reaction to an ambush and in the management and coordination of the activities of evacuation of injured people.
The preparation reached in a few months will allow the Libyan military to carry out surveillance tasks on Libya's borders and to protect oil wells.
In the 2014 other courses are planned in various sectors of public order.
Italy, as part of the G8 Compact, provides collaboration to Libya in the sector of training local security forces to consolidate their capabilities and to guarantee the defense of citizens and the stability of the new democracy.
