The pump was donated by a specialized company based in the province of Verona.
At the inauguration ceremony, Colonel Alessandro Sciarpa was present, representing the commander of Sector West of UNIFIL, Dr. Mauro Brugnara, manager of the pump donor company, representatives of local authorities and numerous citizens.
The Mayor of Mahrunah, Mustafa Wehbi, thanked Italy and the UNIFIL contingent for the construction of the plant, expressing their gratitude for the constant attention and support in favor of the village population.
