They took place these days, at Camp Adazi as part of the mission in Latvia, various training activities to which the Bersaglieri and the tankers of Baltic Task Group they participated together with military personnel from all other contributing nations.

In particular, it was:

- recovery and clearing of wheeled and armored vehicles in all conditions of use;

- planning and conduct of logistical movements with vehicles belonging to the various contingents ofeFP Battle Group Latvia;

- communication and organization procedures for distribution and supply points.

These activities were carried out with the aim of allowing the staff of the NATO Battle Group to become familiar with the means, materials and equipment of all contingents, as well as to learn new working methods in the various sectors examined.

In this context, the contingents shared their resources in order to verify the possibility of integration and interoperability in preparation for the next exercises.

The eFP (enhanced Forward Presence) is an operational NATO initiative of a defensive nature that reinforces the Alliance's principle of deterrence in favor of all member states.

The Armed Forces participate in the eFP following the decisions taken during the Warsaw Summit in July 2016 for the strengthening of the east flank, a tangible sign of solidarity with the Baltic countries.
