The Task Group Breus ofItalian National Contingent Command Air – Task Force Air Kuwait (IT NCC AIR – TFA K) has reached the milestone of 11.000 flight hours in the operational theatre in support of the operation Inherent Resolve / Prima Parthica.
The Task Group, supported by crews and KC-767A aircraft from the 14th Wing of the Pratica di Mare Air Force, was the first Italian asset to arrive in Kuwait in October 2014, with tasks of strategic transport of personnel and materials and for in-flight refueling activities (Air to Air Refueling).
For the occasion, Colonel Matteo Zuliani, commander of the IT NCC AIR – TFA K, highlighted the constant support provided by the mother country, given the numerous and important commitments that characterize the support activities to the theaters of operation in which Italy is present.
Colonel Zuliani, commander of the IT NCC AIR – TFA K, also thanked the men and women of the task group Breus for the professionalism and the important goal achieved, he underlined how fundamental it is to have a strategically multipurpose asset, which operates continuously to support the contingent and the coalition in transport and in-flight refueling activities.
THEItalian National Contingent Command Air – Kuwait Air Task Force, established on 17 October 2014 and placed under the control – for national aspects – of the Joint Operations Command, participates in the operation Prima Parthica/Ineherent Resolve as part of the international anti-ISIS coalition.
