Kosovo: Regional Command West makes educational donation to Strpce schools

The Regional Command West has today made a donation of computer-educational material to the schools of the Municipality of Strpce, in the southern part of western Kosovo.

The Italian ambassador to Kosovo, Antonello Del Riu and the commander of RC-W, Colonel Ivano Marotta, attended the handover ceremony at the municipal headquarters, together with the local authorities and school representatives, of elementary and high schools of Albanian language. and Serbs present in the Municipality.

The completed project is part of the plans and programs of Civil and Military Cooperation CIMIC, supported by the Italian contingent of NATO K-FOR and is configured as an activity dedicated to the educational expansion and the continuous scientific-cultural growth of the new generations of Kosovo, the result of the synergy between local authorities and the RC-W assets, which operate in the field.

Elements highlighted by the commander of RC-W, in the greeting he addressed to the school staff and to the Municipality, with the direct hope that building and investing in the new generations and their preparation, is a guarantee and a prospect of far-sightedness for a future that is always more prosperous than Kosovo.

The military experts of the MULTINATIONAL CIMIC GROUP of the Italian Army and the Liaison Monitoring Team of RC-W, made up of a pool of personnel drawn from Alpine troops and multinational components, are constantly active in their respective area of ​​responsibility, in order to identify any problems and needs of the local population, assist civil institutions and therefore proceed, jointly, coordination and respective solutions.
