Kosovo: RC West in support of Istituto Skenderbeu

Il Regional Command West (RC-W) of KFOR, based on the 9th Alpine Regiment of the Alpine Brigade Taurinense, through the cell of Civil and Military Cooperation (CIMIC) of the multinational contingent, made a donation to the "Skenderbeu" School of Kacanik of a multimedia classroom made up of 23 personal computers and an interactive multimedia blackboard.

The donation is part of the programs of Civil and Military Cooperation of the Italian contingent of KFOR and is configured as an activity dedicated to increasing the educational - didactic level and to the continuous scientific - cultural growth of the new generations of Kosovo, the result of the synergy between Local Authorities and assets of the Regional Command West of K​FOR operating in the delicate sector. The commander of RC-W, Colonel Mario Bozzi, in the greeting he addressed to the mayor and to the representatives of the educational institutions of the municipality, wanted to underline the importance of investing in young people and their training, as a guarantee of an increasingly prosperous future for all communities of Kosovo.

The military experts of the Multinational CIMIC Group of the Italian Army and of the Liaison Monitoring Team of RC-W, made up of personnel drawn from the Alpine troops and multinational components, are daily active in the respective area of ​​​​responsibility, in order to guarantee freedom of movement and the maintenance of a safe and secure environment for the citizens of all communities of Kosovo, in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244.​
