The Italian soldiers of the NATO KFOR mission in Kosovo have donated to the NGO “Autizmi” a series of aids that will allow the children followed by the organization to perform physical and motor exercises.

The NGO Authorizations was founded in 2011 by a group of parents and aims to help young people with autism belonging to all communities in Kosovo, promoting their inclusion and social integration.

The project was funded by NATO and carried out by the monitoring and liaison team of the Italian Army operating in the Pristina area, as part of the assistance activities provided impartially by the KFOR mission to the institutions and communities of Kosovo.

Italy holds the command of KFOR and is the second contributor to the longest running missions of the Atlantic Alliance, active in Kosovo since 1999 under the mandate of resolution 1244 of 1999.
