During the meeting discussion was held on the security and socio-economic situation in northern Kosovo and the Mayor RAKIC expressed to the general his appreciation and gratitude for the impartial and effective work done by KFOR soldiers in favor of the entire population.
The mayor has especially praised the behavior of the Carabinieri of the Multinational Specialized Unit (MSU) who, with uninterrupted patrols and vigilance since the beginning of the NATO mission, have distinguished themselves for their professionalism, impartiality and humanity in assisting the inhabitants who have they have always and unanimously respected and identified as guarantors of their security and freedom.
"KFOR", added the mayor RAKIC "is an important factor that plays a fundamental role in the stability of the territory and creates the conditions for a safe and prosperous environment".
