Kosovo: 12 personal computers donated to the Pjeter Budi school

Il Regional Command West, leading the regiment Piedmont Cavalry (2 °) of the Army, today donated computer equipment to the "Pjeter Budi" school in the locality of Poceste / Poqeste of the Municipality of Peja / Pec, a school where different ethnic groups live together, a symbol of cohesion between peoples .

The commander of RC-W, col. Ivano Marotta, the mayor of the municipality of Peja / Pec, the director of the school, the president of the college of deans of the municipality, the director of the DKA, as well as numerous young people who attend the institute, future users of the donation. Also present are the Liaison Monitoring Team who constantly operate in the area and the specialized civil and military cooperation team of the Multinational Cimic Group of the Italian Army.

During his speech, the commander of RC-W wanted to underline the importance of a peaceful coexistence among all the members of the communities, considering the differences as multipliers of values, highlighting the intent of the Italian contingent to continue to promote the development of a stable and peaceful Kosovo, through CIMIC projects, supporting in the entire western Kosovar region any initiative that can guarantee to live in a safe and secure environment, in line with the principles of the UN resolution 1244 of 1999.
