General Figliuolo receives Kosovo's prime minister

Yesterday the commander of the Kosovo Force (KFOR), division general Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, welcomed Kosovar Prime Minister Isa Mustafa at the base of the "Film City", seat of the NATO command in Pristina.

This is the first official meeting between the general and the prime minister, about a month away from the election of the new executive.

The two senior officers have dealt with various issues focusing, in particular, on the current socio-political situation in the country and on the fundamental and impartial role of KFOR in ensuring the best conditions of social security and stability for all the communities of Kosovo.

General Figliuolo stressed the importance of the continuous dialogue with the main representatives of the international community in Kosovo, in order to develop the maximum synergy of intent with the local institutions and to coordinate intervention policies for the development of all the strategic sectors of the country.

Prime Minister Mustafa expressed his appreciation for the professionalism and excellent work of the KFOR military, belonging to 31 different nations and led by General Figliuolo, who contribute significantly to the progress of this region.
