In recent days, the commander of the multinational force Kosovo Force (KFOR), division general Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, visited the dependent units deployed throughout Kosovo.

During the visit, the general wanted to make a brief assessment of the results obtained by the men and women employed in the mission, underlining his satisfaction with the excellent results achieved in the 2014.

"Near the end of the year it is appropriate to take stock of the 12 months that have passed. A year of hard work, dedication and commitment, which, however, has allowed us to contribute to ensuring an even safer environment. Thanks also to your daily commitment, today Kosovo is a better place to live. Be proud to be part of the Kosovo Force ", said the senior officer who wanted to extend the Christmas holiday greetings to the military and their families, who share the sacrifices of the service of the loved ones.

Today in Kosovo, under the orders of General Figliuolo, men and women from 31 are deployed, both part of NATO and not, for a total commitment of about 5000 military personnel.
