Protagonists, the multipurpose offshore patrol boat Thaon of Revel and the ro-ro container ship Jolly Palladio of Ignazio Messina & C., who simulated a bomb alarm on Tuesday morning on the ship of the Genoese company, in one of the most sensitive areas of maritime traffic, in the strait that connects the Gulf of Oman with the Persian Gulf.

The operation was carried out in collaboration between the Navy, the company Ignazio Messina & C. and Assarmatori.

"As with anti-piracy exercises, anti-terrorism exercises are also of fundamental importance in the context of coordinated actions to protect the crews of Italian ships and the cargo on the routes with the greatest potential risk. - underlines Assarmatori - and also on this occasion the high level of coordination now reached was confirmed ".
