The multinational exercise ended in recent days at the Hohenfels training base in Germany Combined Resolve XV (CBRXV).

Conceived within the framework of the training activities prepared for maintaining the operational capacity of the ready-to-use assets NATO Readiness Initiative (NRI), CBRXV was planned and conducted with the participation of contingents from ten NATO countries and partners, including a national contingent, on a 132nd “Aries” Armored Brigade basis.

The Italian departments, in full compliance with European anti-contagion health regulations, participated in a continuous 10-day exercise, confronting themselves with an environment characterized by severe climatic conditions and living, moving and operating inside combat vehicles and tactical vehicles. or "crew tents".

The objective of the exercise was to test the real combat capabilities and verify the interoperability of the weapon and communication systems between the forces of the participating allied countries, in a simulated operational environment characterized by an increasing level of complexity, to opposing parties (force on force) ensured by various nations (including Slovenia, Romania, Georgia, Kosovo and Albania) and in collaboration with US units of the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT).

In this circumstance, Italy deployed a tactical group-level device led by the 11th Bersaglieri Regiment, consisting of: a company of the 11th Regiment on VCC Dart, a tank company (made up of two platoons of the 132nd regiment and a platoon of the 32nd regiment) on "Ariete C1" tanks and a command and logistic support company (based on the 11th regiment and competitions of the "ARIETE" logistic regiment and others departments of the brigade) equipped with transport, maintenance, refueling, clearing and capacity assets ROLE 1.
