As part of the civil-military cooperation initiatives promoted by the mission in Afghanistan, the Italian contingent of "Resolute Support", currently leading the 132nd "Ariete" armored brigade, donated eight hundred Food kits each containing fifty kilograms of foodstuffs (rice, flour, legumes, oil, sugar) to be allocated to the poor families of the province.

The delivery took place in recent days at Camp Arena, Seat of the Train Advise Assist Command West (TAAC-W), in the presence of the governor of Herat, Sayed Abdul Wahid Qattali, and the commander of the TAAC-WEST, Brigadier General Enrico Barduani.

The activity, organized and conducted by the staff of the Civil and Military Cooperation (CIMIC) of the TAAC-WEST, is part of the numerous humanitarian assistance projects promoted by Italy in favor of the Afghan nation. A warm thanks to Italy was also expressed by the families benefiting from the initiative.
