Afghanistan: Military courses on violence and logistic management concluded

The Italian soldiers of the Train Advise Assist Command West (TAAC-W), the multinational Italian-commanded command based on the "Garibaldi" Bersaglieri brigade, commanded by Brigadier General Maurizio Angelo Scardino, completed two other courses on "the violence of gender "and on the" management of the logistic flow "in favor of the Afghan colleagues.

The first, with the aim of identifying and raising awareness among the Afghan personnel in charge of dealing with the delicate issue, took place at Camp Zafar for the officers and non-commissioned officers of the command of the 207th Army Corps of the Afghan Army (ANA).

To hold the course was the consultant on the "gender perspective".

The second course was conducted by the police advisor team at the conference and training center at Camp Arena.

To attend the course of the personal leader of the Afghan Uniform Police (AUP) of the provincial command of Herat and of some commands of the subordinate districts. The aim of the course is to refine the knowledge about the procedures and the procedures for supply requests in the field of logistics flow. 

These activities represent a further step forward in the by now consolidated assumption of responsibility by the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF), a process that will end on December 31 2014.
