The multinational exercise ended on 7 March Dynamic Manta 2021 (DYMA21), one of the most important annual training activities for the Atlantic Alliance.

The exercise, aimed at ensuring interoperability, cooperation and coordination of the Forces against a multi-domain threat, involved 5 submarines, 4 naval units and 4 aircraft assets from different nations including: France, Germany, Greece , Italy, the United States and Turkey.

In this context, the Navy contributed significantly to the achievement of the training objectives of the Allied training.

The intense activity allowed the participating structures to achieve the full integration necessary for the development of training in the various operational scenarios. The exercise developed according to increasing levels of difficulty until reaching the maximum degree of realism: the so-called "free game". The commanders and the functional teams on board were thus able to put into practice what was consolidated in the previous phases, in a realistically complex scenario in which the consequences of the actions taken affect. The result was the achievement of a high level of interoperability between the assets of the participating Navies.

La Dynamic Manta 2021 he stressed once again the importance of the Alliance in protecting the interests of the sea, the freedom of navigation and the safety of communication lines.
