La Spezia, Saturday 21 September 2024. The biennial meeting of the took place at the underwater and raider command (Comsubin).National Association Honored Incursori Marina (ANAIM), a particularly significant moment and an occasion that best celebrates the meeting between the operators of yesterday and today, held in an embrace and in a sharing of those values and principles that have always distinguished the Navy raiders.
The event included the laying of a wreath at the group's chapel and at the monument dedicated to the fallen of the assault vehicles and a Holy Mass officiated by Monsignor Antonio Vigo, chaplain of Comsubin; followed by the general assembly, with speeches by ANAIM president Gaetano Zirpoli and commander Rear Admiral Stefano Frumento, officially opened the gathering and provided the occasion for the delivery of a copy of the patent to the deans of the bold raiders Gianfranco Pianigiani and Lionello Bertizzolo, born in 1933 and belonging to the fourth course of 1954.
