Today, at the Underwater and Incursors Command (COMSUBIN) of the Navy in La Spezia, the Chief of Staff of the Navy, team admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone handed over the “green beret” to the new raiders of the Navy.

"Today you are receiving a beret that is highly coveted and envied and that everyone looks at with extreme respect" Admiral Cavo Dragone said, highlighting how the ordinary Incursori course had an extra difficulty this year due to the restrictions for the pandemic in place: "It was a precariousness that haunted everyone and I think how difficult it could have been to complete this course in this context".

The GOI, Incursori Operating Group, is the department of excellence of the Navy Special Forces that will require the utmost commitment every day because "You have accustomed the Navy and the country to incomparable performances and professional quality levels", recalled Admiral Cavo Dragone.

Thanks to the possibilities offered by the various competitions (officers, non-commissioned officers and volunteers in fixed positions), many young people have been able to face the demanding training course lasting about a year characterized by four distinct phases, during which students receive adequate preparation basic physical and professional skills necessary to conduct underwater, amphibious and terrestrial operations which led the COMSUBIN School Group to patent 8 tenacious and motivated "operators", of 41 who started the course, after a strong selection among even more numerous questions.
