Nave Foscari rescues about 100 migrants during the night

The Foscari patrol during the night rescued a rubber boat south of Lampedusa with about 100 migrants on board, including 23 women, minor 46 and a newborn.

The rescue operations, necessary due to the precariousness of the means of transport and the absence of individual life jackets, lasted throughout the night due to bad weather and bad sea conditions.

Sub-Saharan migrants are now transferring aboard the Foscari patrol to the port of Augusta.
