Malta: Nave Tullio Tedeschi supports cooperation in the field of Special Forces in the maritime context

As part of the Italy-Malta bilateral cooperation activity in the field of Defense, a team of Incursori del "Teseo Tesei" Underwater and Raiders Grouping Command - COMSUBIN - worked with Special Operations Unit Maltese to increase the skills of Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) to conduct special operations in the maritime environment.

In the last week of training, theHigh Speed ​​Multipurpose Naval Unit (UNPAV) "Tullio Tedeschi" has integrated with the Mobile Training Team and, through its strong support capabilities for special forces, has multiplied the training return in favor of all the participants. The naval unit was hosted by the AFM in the splendid Marsamxett Harbor frame at Hay Wharf headquarters Maritime Squadron.

In this context, the Ambassador of Italy to Malta, if Fabrizio Romano, is embarked on Nave Tullio Tedeschi to attend the final phase of the training which, through a synergistic effort of the AFM and national aeronaval assets, has made it possible to effectively combine the individual capabilities of the units under training.

The Roman ambassador remarked how the coordination from collaborative defense mission, resident on the archipelago, has been invaluable for the full success of the cooperation activity and how this has further enriched the bilateral relations between the armed forces of the two countries.
