An important training session ended on 14 September at the structures of the San Marco marine brigade, which saw as protagonists a boarding team of the Maltese special forces and a boarding team of the 2 San Marco regiment.

The training in VBSS scenarios (Visit, Board, Search and Seizure) was an excellent opportunity for the operators of the two Marines involved, which allowed them to share their techniques, procedures and tactics in maritime environments.

In a busy week, specific training activities were planned and conducted which included the handling of the supplied weapons, the tactical movement and the relative techniques of climbing aboard a naval unit in the port of Brindisi, the military body combat techniques. body (CMCC) and fast-rope release from SH-90 helicopter at MARISTAER Grottaglie airport.

This moment of professional comparison has also made it possible to consolidate the strong relationship existing between the two marinas in the context of the frequent bilateral activities that have seen them protagonists for years.
