The Navy rescues nine boats of migrants

There are nine boats in difficulty identified today by the Navy ships engaged in the Mare nostrum operation. The amphibious ship San Marco rescued six boats in difficulty while the patrol vessel Vega assisted two barges.

822 migrants so far recovered by the units of the Navy. The patrol boats CP303 and CP319 of the Harbor Master's Office are carrying out the rescue of the ninth boat.
