At the request of the municipality of Brenzone, the prefecture of Verona has arranged and coordinated an emergency reclamation intervention during which the divers from the Navy, seconded to the SDAI nucleus of Ancona (Sminamento Difesa Antimazzi Insidiosi), have immersed themselves to research and make the identification of magnetic iron anomalies, signaled by a company specialized in this sector, up to 39 meters of depth.
The navy blasters have identified and removed from the lake around 3500 devices of various types and nature (mortar bombs, artillery shells, hand grenades, rifle bombs, explosives, etc.) that have been handed over to the 8 blasters Guilds regiment of Legnago of the brigade thunderbolt of the Italian Army which, in a maximum security setting, recovered the bombs and then transported them to a local quarry where they were made to shine in special holes previously made by the specialized "dual use" assets under the destroying regiments of the 'Italian army.
