The Defense adheres to the payments node of the public system

With the signature between the director of the Agency for digital Italy (AGID), ing. Agostino Ragosa and the admiral d. Ruggiero Di Biase, general manager responsible for Automated Defense Information Systems, (DGRe.SIAD), the defense ministry joins the Public Connectivity System Paying Node.

With this deed the Defense will be able to count among the first dicasteries to join this system.

With the entry into force of the Digital Administration Code (CAD), a process of modernization of the bureaucratic structure of the public administration began through a wide recourse to the potential of new information and communication technologies.

This process aims to bring institutions closer to the citizen by speeding up and optimizing procedures, making them more accessible and transparent.

Among these initiatives, mention must be made of the electronic payment service, aimed at streamlining payment procedures and mechanisms for goods and services that the citizen purchases from the PA, guaranteeing the traceability of the related transactions. Even the General Staff of Defense has undertaken all the initiatives aimed at achieving, in the short term, this goal, which will be extended to all the goods and services that the Defense Administration provides to users for consideration.

Only by way of example, can you book online and pay electronically (with Point of Sale better known as POS) a health service at a Military Hospital, buy cartographic material online from the Military Geographic Institute or products of the Pharmaceutical Chemical Plant (currently payment is possible only by bank transfer and / or Paypal).
