Forty years, this is the time passed since the members of the course Pegaso they crossed the green gate of the Naval Academy of Livorno for the first time, as young students.
And it is precisely forty years after this event that the same students met again on board the patrol vessel Thaon of Revel to celebrate the Corso's fortieth anniversary.
Tradition and innovation, two inseparable aspects of the Armed Forces, the first represented by the course Pegaso, which with its efforts has contributed to the prestige of the Armed Forces, the second represented by the class leader PPA, which currently represents the technological pinnacle of Italian military shipbuilding.
While the course officers Pegaso they were able to appreciate up close the technological leap of the new generation units, the ancient customs of hospitality and courtesy typical of the Navy crews were not neglected, activities which then culminated with the evocative ceremony of theAmmaina Bandiera.
