The Chief of Staff of the Navy visiting the Logistics Command

Team admiral Enrico Credendino on a visit to Naples, welcomed by the chief inspector admiral Giuseppe Abbamonte, to meet the employees of the functional line, the mayor of Naples and visit some of the Marina sites located in the city of Naples.

The busy schedule included a first stop in Nisida headquarters of the logistic command, where the chief of staff met the owners of the entities present at the site and was updated on the numerous activities of the command, with a particular focus on future projects.

Later in Naples, at the naval base, accompanied by the commander of the headquarters, vessel captain Aniello Cuciniello, Admiral Credendino visited the sailing section “Ammiraglio Straulino”.

In the afternoon, after meeting with the trade unions at the headquarters of the Accademia dell'Alto Mare, Admiral Credendino visited the direction of headlights and signaling accompanied by the director, ship captain Angelo Patruno, and cut the greeting ribbon of the brand new signaling situation room then witnessing a simulation of detection and failure signaling of the lighthouse San Vincenzo in Naples.

This was followed by a meeting with the winners of the winter sailing championship J24 of Anzio and holders of the European and national title, with the boat "La Superba". A representation of the sailing associations active in social solidarity that collaborate with the youth sailing section of the Navy, establishing sailing courses for children with reduced physical mobility and for young people from difficult territorial areas.

Finally, admiral Credendino visited the headquarters of the maritime directorate of Naples where he met Admiral Pietro Vella and the owners of the maritime compartments of Salerno, Castellamare di Stabia and Torre del Greco and of the main Circulate of Campania.
