The frigate Mistral of the Navy has been radiated in these days by the framework of the military navy of the State.

In its long operational life, 33 years, the ship, the first unit of the "Classe Venti", was the protagonist of many activities at the service of institutions and the community navigating for 42.395 hours of motion and covering almost 600.000 miles (equivalent to about 15 times the turn of the Earth along the equator).

His career ended in 2015 with a campaign in the Italian seas where he touched the main ports of the country to greet the population and convey his latest message of awareness about the spirit of service for the community, the culture of the sea and the environmental protection.
