Brindisi and the San Marco Marine Brigade: an unforgettable Friendship Day

Brindisi experienced a day of celebration and deep bond with the marine brigade Saint Mark, which celebrated the Friendship DayThe event was attended by numerous citizens and the highest local civil and military authorities.  

Admiral Aurelio De Carolis, commander in chief of the naval squadron and of the European Maritime Force, expressed his satisfaction with the success of the event, underlining once again the importance of the bond between the Navy departments and the city that hosts them, in particular the close relationship and deep friendship that binds the Marine Brigade Saint Mark and the city of Brindisi.  

The "Friendship Day" further strengthened the relationship between the Marine Brigade Saint Mark and the local community, a bond built over fifty years of collaboration and shared commitment. The event was an opportunity to celebrate the history and tradition of the Brigade, but also to bring the local population closer to the amphibious component and the possibility for more young people to look at the Navy as a possible opportunity for future employment.  

The city of Brindisi responded with enthusiasm and participation, demonstrating once again its affection and gratitude towards the marine brigade. Saint Mark, an institution that represents a point of reference for the community and a symbol of excellence of the Navy.
