While sailing towards the Spanish city the destroyer participated in a bilateral exercise with the Spanish corvette Vigia, which provided for a boarding test conducted by the team of the espada armada, for the verification of documents and loading on merchant ship simulated by ship Durand de La Penne.

Close cinematic maneuvers, take-off and deployment operations of the AB212 helicopter on the flight deck of the Iberian unit and exercises in flashes of light, have completed the cycle of programmed activities.

"The planning of a series of training events is a fundamental opportunity to increase the readiness of crews and the efficiency of vehicles and equipment," explains the commander of de La Penne, captain of vessel Ostilio de Majo.
