Joint Stars 2023 terminated

The Joint Stars 2023, the exercise that saw the Italian Armed Forces train in the defense of air, land and sea spaces, in cyber and space security, in the defense against chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear contamination and in the fight against emerging threats, including submarine drones or planes.

During the Joint Stars the departments of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Arma dei Carabinieri also practiced in "interagency" events, with the aim of increasing integration and interoperability between the components of the Armed Forces and the other branches of the State involved in the management of public order, in the fight against terrorism and illicit trafficking, in aiding refugees and in the management of emergency situations.

A total of over 5.300 men and women and 900 platforms with the involvement also of foreign structures and, for the first time, university students of important national universities (LUISS "Guido Carli", LUMSA, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa and the University of Studies of Genoa).
