Public Administration: at the CEDECU of Gaeta the Excellence Awards

An acknowledgment that represents a "Clear sign of the Dicastery's attention towards the current needs of slenderness and efficiency of its operating procedures".

Thus the Minister of Defense, Elisabetta Trenta, on the occasion of the award ceremonyExcellence Awards assigned by Certiquality al Center for Dematerialization and Unique Conservation of Defense (CEDECU) of Gaeta, which took place this morning in the conference room of Palazzo Guidoni, headquarters of the General Secretariat of Defense and the National Directorate of Armaments.

The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of Defense and National Director of Armaments, General Nicolò Falsaperna, the Director General of the Defense Industries Agency, Giancarlo Anselmino, and the president of Certiquality, Cesare Puccioni.

The award was given only three years after the creation of the Center, established by the Ministerial Decree of 25 June 2015. Center that, as underlined Minister Trenta, represents a "Precious reference model for future synergies between the Defense, the Defense Industries Agency and private industry".

"Thanks to a challenging process of industrial reconversion, he has contributed actively to that change of conceptual approach to the world of Defense necessary in order to have, in the future, a more effective and more efficient organization and, more generally, to the process of modernization of the country " he added.

General Falsaperna focused on the importance of the dematerialization of documents: "Digitization and digital preservation of the Defense Administration's archives allows to optimize the procedures and be closer to the citizens. At the same time, it allows to free spaces and infrastructures that can be destined for other uses ".

Several public administrations have interacted with the ECHR of Gaeta for the digitization of their archives.
Important collaborations that, as the minister underlined "Have demonstrated the validity of a project that the Defense strongly supported, through the Defense Industries Agency, in the growing awareness of how increasingly important it is to invest in new technologies and the need no longer dilapable to enhance the public patrimony used by the Defense , keeping it consistent in quantity and quality with the actual institutional needs ".
