On the proposal of the Minister of Defense, the Honorable Lorenzo Guerini, the President of the Republic, with DPR of 17 June 2022, conferred the position of Deputy Secretary General of Defense and Deputy National Director of Armaments to team admiral Pier Federico Bisconti.
After the achievement of the classical high school diploma at the Naval College "Francesco Morosini" in Venice, Admiral Bisconti attended the Naval Academy of Livorno, leaving it with the rank of ensign in 1985, after having also obtained a degree in Maritime and Naval Sciences.
During his career he has assumed command positions on various military naval units, has carried out research and studies in the Defense and Navy staff. He also served in international operational activities until he became Chief of Staff of the Interoperable Summit Operations Command, a post left in 2021 to be appointed Director of Navy Personnel Employment from December 16, 2021.
