Agreement between Segredifesa and Interuniversity Center of Microwave Engineering for Space Applications

The General Secretariat of Defense and National Directorate of Armaments (Segredifesa) finalized the Framework Agreement for Collaboration with the Interuniversity Center for Microwave Engineering for Space Applications (MECSA) on cooperation in the field of research and innovation this afternoon.

The event took place in Palazzo Guidoni, seat of the Secretariat. For Defense, the Army Corps General Luciano Portolano, Secretary General of Defense and National Director of Armaments signed, while Professor Ernesto Limiti, Director of the Interuniversity Center of Microwave Engineering for Space Applications, signed for MECSA.

The Agreement provides for the possibility of operating in a synergistic and shared manner by promoting opportunities for study and in-depth analysis as well as to implement research projects in the field of microwaves for space-type applications, with particular reference to the microwave and wave engineering sector. millimeter in the fields of antennas and propagation, electromagnetic compatibility, electronic devices and systems, remote sensing and environmental modeling, complex systems for space applications, radio frequency electronic components.
