A military delegation from Qatar, led by the deputy commander of the Qatar Air Forces, brig. gen. Hazza Nasser Hazza Alshahwan, visited the Guidonia (RM) Aerocooperation School.

The delegation, welcomed by Brigadier General of the Air Force Glauco Luigi Mora and his closest collaborators, was illustrated the training offer of the School in the two training sectors of Remote Sensing and Aerocooperation, with particular regard to the training of JTAC operators. (Joint Terminal Attack Controller) and in the field of Personnel Recovery.

Subsequently, demonstration activities were carried out on the capabilities of the School's JTAC simulator, an extremely realistic, advanced and integrated system with real systems and equipment, which allows you to carry out virtual missions of close air support (Close Air Support), significantly reducing training costs.

The same activities were then replicated live, with flight arrangements of the 60th Guidonia wing, in which the JTAC personnel in training "guided" the air support towards the target, identified by a Observation Post in the hills around the airport.

The Qatar delegation was able to appreciate the skills and training skills expressed by the School of Aerocooperation in the field of remote sensing and operations air to ground.
