The priority at the moment is the search and recovery of the two soldiers still missing, activities that are conducted non-stop in flight by the military aeronautics helicopters and on the ground by the civil and military rescue teams.
The utmost attention is also paid to the recovery of materials and all that is necessary to complete the technical investigation.
The next phase, after securing the areas, will be the environmental and landscape restoration of the areas involved, in coordination with the competent territorial authorities and institutions. The Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Pasquale Preziosa, team general, had a meeting with family members and colleagues of the four pilots involved, to whom he wished to bring the message of condolence from the Minister of Defense Roberta Pinotti and the institutional authorities that these days they have tightened around the air force to show their closeness.
