The RACSA trains the pilots of the State Police

The didactic support of military professors from the Air Space Practice Training Department at Pratica di Mare at the 1 ° Flight Department of the State Police for the conversion course from the civil title for the achievement of radiotelephony qualification in English was recently concluded.

The course was attended by 8 pilots of rotary-wing aircraft and 3 with fixed status of the State Police.

The educational support activity provided by the RACSA to the Flight Department of the State Police is in addition to those already consolidated for a long time in favor of the Carabinieri Flight Department and the Guardia di Finanza Aviation Center, present in Pratica di Mare (RM ).  

The RACSA, dependent on the 9 ^ Air Intelligence Brigade, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance - Electronic Warfare (ISTAR-EW) of the Rome Air Force Command, is the training agency of the Italian Air Force which has the task of training the personnel, Officers and NCOs, of all the Armed Forces responsible for the control of airspace, air traffic and air defense, as well as the personnel employed in the meteorological service. The RACSA also carries out the assessment of the linguistic competence in technical English "Technical Proficiency Test" (TPT), necessary for the TA / DA controllers to perform the airspace management functions.
