The head of SMA on a visit to Poland

On Thursday 27 February, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Pasquale Preziosa, air force general, visited the Deblin airbase in Poland.

On that occasion, the company Alenia Aermacchi signed a contract with the Polish Ministry of Defense to supply eight M-346 Master advanced training aircraft.

The Polish Air Force will therefore use the same aircraft that the Air Force is acquiring for the advanced training of military pilots destined for the latest generation of high performance aircraft.

On the sidelines of the event, the SMA chief, speaking of the acquisition of the M-346 aircraft by Poland, said: "Poland thus fits into the new training line for 4th and 5th generation pilots" . In fact, General Preziosa needs to express the utmost competence in military flight: "machines of excellence, tactics of excellence and training of excellence. Today Poland has acquired the machines, together we will work to acquire the tactics and skills. 'training in order to ensure NATO the best pilots for the new challenges that we will be called to face ".
