The ceremony took place in the theater of the Institute in the presence of the relatives of the judges and the staff of the permanent framework of the academy.
In his speech, the air squad general Fernando Giancotti emphasized the meaning of the oath formula and its ethical implications, underlining the training objective of the aeronautical academy which is to prepare young officers with strong moral, military and professionals to operate in the service of the country.
The sub-lieutenants of the fifth generation of the Nibbio courses, currently attending the 4 year of the aeronautical academy, confirmed their duties and their loyalty to the Institutions with the today's ceremony.
