Delegation of Qatar to Pratica di Mare

On Tuesday, as part of international cooperation activities, the CAE Multi Crew of Pratica di Mare (Rome) welcomed the visit of a Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) delegation.

The delegation, composed of Brigadier General Ali Al Mohannadi, Head of Education and Training Department of the EEAF, Brigadier General Yousef Shaheen, Deputy Commander of the Qatar Air Force Academy and four other officers, was received at the headquarters of the newly established CAE MC , by Colonel Macioce Massimiliano, commander of the Center.

The same col. Macioce explained to the guest delegation the mission and tasks of the department. Subsequently he accompanied the delegation on a visit where he showed the structure and the teaching aids supplied to the Center, with particular reference to the FNTP2 (Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer) simulator which is commonly used for the Multi Crew Coordination MCC and MCC-I courses. (for which it is optimized) in favor of the Italian and foreign armed forces crews.

The visit of the facilities of the Crew Training Center ended on the flight line, where the guests were able to closely observe the P-180 aircraft, with which the department carries out its institutional mission. The CAE MC, placed under the command of the Schools AM (CSAM / 3 ^ RA) of Bari, carries out the courses for advanced training on multi-engine airplanes for the students navigating the AM, of the other armed forces and armed bodies of the State at end of the achievement of the military pilot's license (BPM). At the same time the MC EWC ensures the basic training of newly assigned personnel re-employed to the "Multi Crew" lines, ensuring the standardization of the training of the various operating lines, also guaranteeing the achievement qualifications recognized by the competent civil authority (ENAC).
