On Tuesday 25 February, at the Palazzina Studi of the Institute of Military Aeronautical Sciences, the 19 ° Specialization Course was launched for the captains of the special role of the Air Force.

The course aims to provide the future senior officers of special roles with the knowledge and basic skills necessary to fulfill the roles that can be assigned to them in the various employment contexts, with main reference to the staff service, doctrine and the use of forces, logistics and management and managerial techniques.

The commander of the ISMA, general of the air division Gian Franco Camperi, addresses the 59 officials present on behalf of the whole institute who, throughout the course, “will offer the maximum educational and logistical support to enable you to engage in this intense and significant period ". Inside the course, continues the gen. Camperi, “the idea of working in a team must develop, with the aim of overcoming every barrier of individualism and excel in a common project since in our sector the results are obtained exclusively with a team work in which everyone brings their own precious contribution".

The specialization course also includes a project management course, managed by the didactic and managerial training department (RE.FO.DI.MA.) limited to the qualification at team manager level. Moreover, with the advanced course there is a tendency to stimulate cultural harmonization and the development of skills among the officers with a different initial training process.
