Earthlings survive (perhaps) only if it comes to penalties

"Alien Invasion How to defend earth". This is the title of a book written by Travis Taylor, a physicist with experience in the military and American intelligence services, who developed a detailed strategic plan to survive an alien invasion.

The Pentagon and the British secret services, since the 70 years, have been drawing up some rough plans in case humanity was faced with an alien invasion.

The United States has developed plans that take every possible war scenario as a reference.

The chances of victory of the terrestrial forces against the alien ones, in all the scenarios imagined so far, are equivalent to ZERO.

But what is the probability of an alien attack?

There are about four hundred billion stars in the Milky Way alone - writes Taylor - and we know that at least one star system (ours) within the Milky Way has developed intelligent life. Statistically, therefore, there could be one civilization per galaxy.

How many galaxies are there?

Billions, maybe more. So, there could be billions of star systems with intelligent civilizations, even if there is not a single intelligent civilization for each galaxy. There are 400 billions of stars in the Milky Way alone. This brings us to an 0,25% intelligent life chance on 10-11 galaxies. Such probability - concludes Taylor - would lead us to the conclusion that either we are an accident or a special, the only joke of nature or that we are not alone.

But how would the alien attack take place?

Here is one of the possible wargames based on the current military science of the United States and NATO member countries.

The terrestrial listening apparatus, are picking up signals approaching. The alarm comes from NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command which organizes the alert, the interception reaction, identification and possible killing of every unknown and / or potentially hostile aircraft or missile, including UFOs. The threat is confirmed by the GEOD SS, an optoelectronic-terrestrial space surveillance system, from Neat and the Okno observatory in Tajikistan. After a first moment of disbelief, it turns out that celestial bodies have emerged from the depths of space. The fact that they are intelligent alien spaceships, is given by the fact that the objects are slowing down their approach speed and are about to enter the Earth's atmosphere, attracting the entire satellite network to itself, making the military apparatus blind. The spaceships, as imagined in the wargame, are positioned on the largest cities in the world. In vain all communication attempts.

The alien spaceships have positioned themselves on all the major cities of the world and have unison, an attack that has destroyed the main world capitals. As the military doctrine foresees, the goal is to paralyze the electricity grid, obscure communication, interrupt all types of supply, make as many victims as possible, create chaos, demoralize the enemy with an overwhelming test of strength. During this first attack, an estimated two billion people would lose their lives. But the terrestrial forces would try everything for everything, with the best technology available. The first attack would be carried from the sky, because in an ideal context, aerial supremacy in a conventional war is of fundamental importance for victory.

From the secret American bases disclosed throughout the territory and from those in Russia, located in Siberia and in the Urals like Mezhgorye, the most powerful attack air force ever formed would rise. The United States would form an air force consisting of F22 Raptor, F 35, F15, F16, 5 B2 and F 18 Hornet. At this stage, no alien attacks are expected against aircraft carriers, so it is assumed that the American naval force is fully operational with at least eight battle groups ready to strike.

On the Russian side, instead, the brand new Sukhoi Pak Fa 50, Mig 29 between Sniper, Fulcrum Plus and Sokol, Sukhoi 27 between Sm and MK 1, 30 Sukhoi 37 Terminator and the entire advanced fourth generation battle group, form from 60 Sukhoi 35. The European countries would form various fleets, made up of Efa 2000, Rafale, Gripen, Tornado and F-35. Finally, China would field an air force between the 400 and the 600 aircraft between Chengdu J-10 fighters of the fourth generation and a half and Chengdu J20, fifth-generation fighters very similar to the American Raptors. The best fighters on earth are about to attack the alien enemy and the aircraft placed in their defense.

The first phase of the attack would be carried by aircraft defined by air domain. The fighters would be preceded by unmanned drone squadrons with full stealth capability. American F22, Russian Sukhoi 50 and Chengdu 20 would form the spearhead. They are fifth-generation fighters, with full stealth capability, unmatched maneuverability, armed with medium-air and short-range air-to-air missiles carried internally to reduce signature.

Shooting radars of land fighters, such as the Raptor's AN APG-77, may also be able to frame an alien aircraft. This does not mean, however, that they would be able to destroy it. The enemy faced, in fact, is not earthly. Because the dynamics of the jumps or stretches of the temporal space fabric or the use of an anti-gravity propulsion system are science fiction for humans while, instead, for other visitors could already be reality, a thesis confirmed by Seti. The fact is that nobody knows how they move. Antimatter is presumed, in fact: science fiction for humans even if in the 2002 Boeing has carried out studies in this regard. It seems probable, however, that being aircraft that have traveled in the cosmos, they have a profound knowledge of applied physics, completely unknown to us and with shields of protection that isolate them from our atmosphere and from the earth's magnetic field, ignoring the Newtonian laws.

Every missile launched by land fighters is absorbed by the shields of alien aircraft that make sudden turns at unthinkable numbers of G, make a killing. Losses for Earthmen would be around 80% of the forces deployed against any of the aliens. But there is one last possibility: a massive nuclear attack carried by the most powerful weapon on the planet.

The most powerful weapon ever created by man is the nuclear-powered missile submarine. However, the attack would take place in concert with other nations precisely to avoid a global holocaust, also because on the affected area, we are talking about hundreds of square kilometers, without considering the winds, there would be no life for decades. The United States therefore decides to launch a nuclear attack, launching the most powerful weapon ever built. A missile capable of attacking from space with multiple independent warheads.

According to the wargame told by Taylor, an Ohio-class submarine would launch a single Trident II - Marv missile against an alien mother ship, positioned on an American metropolis, that is with multiple independent warheads capable of modifying their flight path with abrupt maneuvers. (Although the Marv titles are still in an experimental phase, the choice is to give the maximum destructive capacity to the man to have some chances). The MARV system, in fact, gives almost absolute certainty of hitting the enemy, eliminating any possibility of intercepting the enemy. The warheads hit the target with devastating violence. But in all the scenarios hypothesized by the American and British secret services, the most powerful weapons ever created do nothing but exterminate only other human beings. The reason is soon said: to reach our atmosphere, the aliens have crossed the cosmos with protective shields able to cancel all external effects. The explosion of the Trident, would only scratch the paint of the spaceships of the alien invaders, who in the phase of the first strike did not forget the submarines: they considered them only non-dangerous.

The imagined wargame leaves no way out for humanity. In the coming months, the population is set to decline, considering the subsequent land attack carried by the alien forces. Humans, now in hiding and missing, are on the verge of extinction, but this is where the wargame becomes interesting because the American defense computer, if in the early stages of the alien attack gives no chance to mankind, with as the months go by he starts giving chances to man. The reason is only one: the surviving humans would start hitting the alien targets by adopting unconventional guerrilla techniques as the Indians did against the Europeans. It is the concept of asymmetric warfare.

And the story is full of these examples: the Mujaheddin Afghanistan, for example, chased the Red Army and its Spetsnaz. A tactic, as established by the Wargame of the United States and told by Travis Taylor in his "Alien Invasion - How to defend earth", which will ultimately reward humans, as the aliens would start accumulating unreplaceable losses.

The final wargame against a possible extra-terrestrial attack marks the victory of the aliens in the early stages of the war.

The only possibility for man is to give himself to the bush, survive and reorganize.

To win the war, the man will have to start fighting, triggering unconventional guerrilla warfare.
