A delegation from Leonardo, led by President Stefano Pontecorvo, is on a mission to the Ivory Coast to fully implement the Mattei Plan for the African country.
The mission is aimed at illustrating and making available to the government of Abidjan the technologies of the Italian company in the collaboration plan foreseen. For these reasons the delegation had institutional meetings, including the ministers of Agriculture, Interior and Digitalization.
The meetings illustrated the possible technological applications of Leonardo in the agricultural sector, in cyber security, in digitalization, in healthcare.
Through the company's expertise in the field of cyber security, those of Telespazio and e-Geos developed and in the geo-information sector, combined with advanced technological solutions, such as the application of Artificial Intelligence, the collection and analysis of big data and the cloud, the company is able to respond to the needs of the Ivorian government, including in the infrastructure field.
In the next few days, a delegation from Leonardo, always within the framework of the Mattei Plan, will visit other countries in North Africa; and it has already been in Angola.
Leonardo's delegation was accompanied in all institutional meetings in Abidjan by the Italian Ambassador to the Ivory Coast, Arturo Luzzi, and the Ivorian Ambassador to Rome, Nogozene Bakayoko.
