PIAGGIO AEROSPACE SIGNS CONTRACT FOR THE SALE OF 5 VELIVOLI P.180 NEXT EVO IN THE UNITED STATES

Piaggio America, the US subsidiary of Piaggio Aerospace, announced at NBAA-BACE (the business aviation show held every year in Orlando, Florida) that it has signed a contract for the sale of 5 specimens of the P.180 aircraft Avanti EVO, which marks its debut on the North American market. The buyer is the US company West Coast Aviation Services, a charter flight operator that has just passed its 30 years of activity just these days.

West Coast Aviation Services has also signed options for the purchase of four more aircraft.

The first of the five Avanti EVO, the aircraft currently on display at Orlando's exhibition, will be delivered immediately. The delivery of the other four aircraft and additional options will take place from the fourth quarter of 2017.

To date, about 220 P.180 are flying in the world: 5 EVO, 126 Avanti II, and 89 Avanti.
