The NH Industries consortium, on the occasion of the "NH90 Users Conference", today delivered the 250th NH90 military helicopter to Viterbo. The ceremony, held on the occasion of the annual NH90 users conference, was attended by Major General Antonio Bettelli, commander of the Army Aviation, Vincent Dubrule, NHI president and Eric Beignot-Devalmont, deputy general manager NAHEMA.

The event is organized annually by the industrial consortium NATO Helicopter Industries (NHI) set up by Agusta-Westland, Airbus Helicopters and Fokker, in order to share the initiatives undertaken or to be undertaken in the specific sector with all helicopter users of the NH90.

"The delivery of the 250 ° aircraft is an important milestone and highlights the technical and commercial success of this European program" declared Vittorio Della Bella, managing director of the NH Industries consortium.

The NH90, in its category, is today the most modern military helicopter used in operational theater, and with the AVES assets it has already passed the 2000 flight hours. It is used in Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Greece, Oman, Belgium, Australia and New Zealand.

The Italian Army uses it in favor of the Special Forces.

To date, with 250 NH90 helicopters delivered to 13 countries around the world, NHI considers it essential to exchange information and in-depth information among users and industries operating in the NH90 world, as well as with the NATO Helicopter Management Agency (NAHEMA).
