Last month the French army conducted a fire training campaign in preparation for the next deployment of the MMP missile.
In parallel, a number of additional shots were made to test the system's capacity beyond normal operating use. The result was that two throws over the 5.000 meters would be completely successful.
The shots, in which the seeker had been hooked to the target before firing, they would have confirmed the performance in the acquisition and driving of the missile.
The MMP program provides a basic interforces platform for a total of 400 launchers and 1.950 missiles within the 2025. The first systems are currently in use for training.
The system should be operationalally available before the end of this year.
